System One is currently seeking a Category Manager on a 12 month contract position located in Birmingham, AL.
Category Manager Requirements:
Knowledge of supply markets and purchasing principles
Professional written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of contract terminology
Facilitation skills
Proven Negotiation skills
Excellent project management skills
Strong skills in Microsoft Office
Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain management
Financial acumen and demonstrated aptitude in analytics
3-5 years of competitive bidding/sourcing experience
Major equipment contract negotiation
Previous category management experience a plus
Duration: 12 months
Location: Birmingham, AL
