Mountain Ltd. has several openings for a remote OSP QC Specialist!

Specialties include OSP/ISP engineering, design, permitting, right-of-way and CAD for traditional and wireless telecommunications companies.

Overview:

The QC will ensure that all of the client’s underground and aerial plant facilities meet the current standards through inspections, and corrections work performed by contractors. Responsible for making sure the budget is accurate compared to expenditures (i.e. materials & labor).

Qualifications:

• Must be proficient in OSP Construction Standards

• Must have experience in designing a telecommunication fiber print.

• Knowledge of materials needed for designing & constructing prints so the outside technicians can build a fiber to the home network.

• Previous experience performing FTTH inspections (experience working on an aerial cable line crew preferred).

• Previous experience performing wooden pole ground line inspections.

• Familiarity with the National Electric Safety Code.

• Computer experience:

• Microsoft Windows 10 or newer.

• Microsoft Excel.

• Microsoft Outlook.

• Microsoft MapPoint preferred,is but not required.

• Familiar and comfortable with internet usage, and web page browsing.

• Good communication skills.

• Personal time management and organization skills.

• Construction contractor management skills.
