System One Project Controls 4 in Los Alamos, New Mexico
Long-term contract opportunity in Los Alamos, NM! (Per diem available when applicable.)
System One is seeking to contract with a Project Controls specialist to support our client on-site in Los Alamos, NM. The successful candidate will perform cost estimating, analysis, and control activities. As delegated to, supervises, and provides technical direction for cost engineering and/or planning/scheduling activities.
Responsibilities:
Support the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and Project Controls System.
Performs cost estimating analysis and control activities.
Supervise and provides technical direction for cost engineering and/or planning/scheduling activities.
Supervise schedule development, maintenance, and monitoring activities.
Identifies trends for management attention.
Ensure work is completed as scheduled.
Work on unusually significant, unique or complex issues, providing solutions that are highly creative and where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles.
Develops resolutions to complex problems that require the frequent use of creativity and where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Exerts significant latitude in determining objectives of assignment, and determines the methods and procedures needed for new assignments.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum twelve years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Advanced knowledge of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) tools and processes.
Experience performing, monitoring, and reviewing planning and scheduling functions, including schedule development, control, and analysis, and cost engineering functions, including cost estimating, cost control, financial reporting systems, and cost analysis.
Skilled in oral and written communication
