Hybrid Engineer

System One is currently seeking a Hybrid Engineer on a 12 month contract position located in Minneapolis, MN.
Engineer Responsibilities:
Performing engineering reviews (mainly) renewable energy projects within the team.
Taking a look at early-stage development of projects, doing due diligence using due diligence checklist, in addition to reviewing submittals from either developers or self-developed projects and also reviewing those engineering work tasks, task follow up.
Reviewing submittals and updating trackers, requesting additional information from developers using either qualitive or quantitative responses to then updates estimates for projects.
Working collaboratively with engineering staff and project managers in Denver and Minneapolis.
Will be working with Project Managers on the engineering work scope that they need reviewed under the direction of either a senior or principal engineer within the group.
Engineer Requirements:
SharePoint, previous knowledge in/with PVSYST and/or OpenWind.
2-5 years experience
Bachelor of science and engineering, preference for Civil/Electrical Engineering with additional preference for renewable specific.
Must possess strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to take qualitative responses and translate them into quantitative responses to define a value associated with them.
Duration: 12 months
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Pay Rate: $45-60/hr DOE
This is a hybrid position that requires 3 days in the office with 2 remote days per week.
