ES&H & ISM Programs Analyst :
This role would be supporting the Environment, Safety, and Health (ES&H) and Integrated Safety Management (ISM) efforts
Provide support to enhance NETL’s ( National Energy Technology Laboratory ) internal and external communication efforts to comply with ES&H management system requirements.
Assist with developing a communication process to ensure all interested parties have access to NETL’s ES&H management system information, including employees without access to NETL’s intranet (e.g., foreign nationals and janitorial staff).
Assist subject matter experts with organizing and formatting communications from the ES&H and EM Directorate. Develop and track metrics related to these communications.
Possible outputs include DOE Management Townhall safety slides, Supervisors’ staff meeting safety minutes, Safety Corner papers, and Sections of the ES&H and EM intranet page.
Possible sources of information include DOE or NETL Operational Experience info (i.e., Lessons Learned), FECM ESS&H Newsletter articles, and specific topics from ES&H and EM subject matter experts.
Provide support to develop and update documentation for NETL’s ISM program, including but not limited to, procedures/manuals, functions/responsibilities/authorities, roadmap, and presentation materials.
Provide support for initiatives, events, and training to highlight, promote, and improve NETL’s ISM program.
Provide onsite training and conduct onsite courses at NETL for DOE’s National Training Center (NTC) TLP-100, Safety Culture Leadership Fundamentals for employees.
Assess the opportunity to engage NETL in Los Alamos National Lab’s Laboratory Operations Management Academy (LOMA) and/or Laboratory Operations Supervisor Academy (LOSA) and/or Sandia National Lab’s Safety Academy for Excellence (SAFE).
