System One Industrial Project Engineer in Randolph, New Jersey
SUMMARY
Review project scope with Sales/Engineering dept
Solicit and review offers from vendors/subcontractors
Assist with the approval drawings in AutoCAD
Place, expedite, and QC orders with vendors
Manage project as it flows from order placement to shipment
QC project in shop including pre-shipment testing (FAT)
Ensure deadlines and cost targets are met
Maintain required project documentation
Work with customer, sales, accounting, shop, and engineering departments as required
Generate Operation and Maintenance Manuals for customer and company
QUALIFICATIONS
BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant discipline
3+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, industrial machinery, or other closely related fields
Strong project coordination and project management skills
Ability to communicate effectively with vendors
Strong technical writing skills
Strong analysis and critical thinking skills
Deadline and detail-oriented
